What Women Really Want | Sex, Desire, Relationships

A couple of years ago, Andrew Huberman interviewed Dr. David Buss, an evolutionary psychologist at the University of Texas about his book, “The Evolution Of Desire And Why Women Have Sex” to find out what women really want.

Buss researches human sex differences in mate selection and is considered one of the founders of evolutionary psychology.

Even though some of my viewers are Christians or of other religious persuasions, this information is relevant.

Either you believe men and women evolved over many moons to become who we are today, or you believe God created us to be who we are.

Whichever way you look at it, there are differences between men and women that cause frustration, confusion, and misunderstandings, especially when it comes to desire and sex.

Understanding our differences can help us see how they complement each other and allow us to have better relationships with each other.

If you don’t like the opposite sex, it could be because you don’t understand them and expect them to be like you.

Disliking the opposite sex isn’t attractive.

Fellas, is your idea of a keeper a woman who dislikes or resents men?

Exactly.

The same thing goes for men who dislike or resent women.

In this video, I’ll share some takeaways from the Buss-Huberman interview including universally attractive traits, what women want and don’t want for long-term vs short-term relationships, why women like “bad boys”, what men want, and the top three tactics to get a mate.
