Kinder Beauty Box Review - Is It Worth It?

[ad_1]

I recently came across a new, to me at least, beauty subscription box called Kinder Beauty. It came at a great time too. I was starting to miss getting beauty subscription boxes and was starting to consider getting one again.

I decided to give this subscription service a try, even though I hadn’t heard anything about it previously. I’m sharing my thoughts and impressions on my first Kinder Beauty Box with you here, so that you can decide if you want to try it.

What Is Kinder Beauty?

In each Kinder Beauty Box, since their beginnings in 2019, you’ll find makeup and skincare products that are vegan and cruelty-free. The cruelty-free products featured in their boxes are also free from the most common toxins, like sulfates, parabens, BHAs, and BHDs to name a few.

Kinder Beauty is co-founded and ran by actresses and ethical entrepreneurs, Daniella Monet and Evanna Lynch. Each box contains over $120 worth of products for $26 monthly and have free shipping on their monthly box. They often run promos where you can get your first box for just $10 or have a free gift.

Their mission is simple – to make the world a little kinder, for the planet and for ourselves. They even have their own podcast called A Little Kinder. On their podcast Daniella and Evanna talk to thought leaders and learn how they make the world a kinder place. You can listen to it wherever you listen to podcasts at.

Why Natural And Organic Makeup Is The Best

I love trying new beauty products through beauty subscription boxes like Birchbox, Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, and Kinder Beauty. I have discovered my new favorite products through these monthly boxes.

What makes Kinder Beauty Boxes stand out is their commitment to curating the best ethical beauty products from amazing brands. I’ve recently taken an interest in adding more clean and natural products into my life. So a box like this is the perfect way for me to find new products that can work for me.

There are a lot of benefits to choosing clean beauty products. By using natural ingredients the products will be free of toxic chemicals that impact the environment and your health.

It prevents sensitive skin from being irritated and can prevent certain illnesses. Not only that but, organic ingredients also have health benefits. Ingredients like vitamin e, vitamin c, cocoa butter, wheat germ oil, shea butter, avocado oil, and jojoba oil help the skin by providing hydration, preventing acne, and soothing skin conditions, to name a few. Preventing the bad stuff and adding good stuff sounds like a win-win to me, what about you?

The Box

This Kinder Beauty Box review is the June 2022 box in the theme Dawn. Overall I loved the box and the variety of beauty products. I hadn’t tried any of these brands, so these were all new products to me.

A nice touch in the box was that the product list card included a QR code that goes to tutorials on how to use these products, and add them to your beauty routine. The products in my first box had over $150 worth of product in it.

Here is what was in the box:

Dirty Lamb: Ultra Day Serum – Dirty Lamb creates unisex skincare products that include natural ingredients. Their Ultra Day Serum provides brightening, hydration, and age-defiance. It’s a non-greasy formula so it felt nice and smooth on my skin. This would be great to pair with the Dirty Lamb Ultra Night Serum.

Glamnetic: SOO FUTURE! MAGNETIC LINER PEN – Deep Space – This fast-growing company has transformed the lashes industry. Gone are the days where you have to deal with messy, hard-to-use glue. The magnetic liner pen serves two purposes – a liner and a way to hold your lashes in place. I love how easy it glides on.

Glamnetic: Venus Lash – Along with the Magnetic Pen I received lashes from Glamnetics. I loved the way I looked with these lashes on and they were so simple to put on. The Venus Lashes make a great everyday look that really makes my eyes pop. Even though I don’t wear false lashes, these were fun to try. I ended up gifting them to my sister because she loves false lashes. She also expressed the same thoughts that I had about them, and they look amazing on her.

103 Collection: Vegan Heat Protectant Serum –  103 Collection sells vegan skincare and haircare products, to name a few. They partner with organizations that support environmental causes and sustainability. The company also supports animal rights by being Leaping Bunny Certified, which means they don’t believe in/support animal testing. Their heat protectant serum is nice and light-weight. I feel good knowing my hair is protected while styling it.

Voir Haircare: Sunset Rituals Signature Conditioner – Voir Haircare is a cruelty-free haircare brand based in Canada. I received a deluxe sized conditioner. I had mixed feelings about this product because I didn’t love the scent. There isn’t much information on this brand, but they do have a variety of different products like shampoo, conditioner, serums, and styling foam.

My Final Opinion

There is one thing that I wish this company offered. I’d love it if there were more customizations we could make or preferences we can add to our profile. If that was the case I would have skipped out on the eyelash liner and eyelashes (full-size products) – only because I can’t wear them with glasses, otherwise I love them. I would have also loved to have a different conditioner.

It would be great if you could customize your makeup products to your skin tone too. It seems like most products are full size but you can also sometimes get deluxe samples.

It’s nice that there is a mix of hair products, body care products, makeup products, and tools.

Knowing that all of these products are natural and cruelty-free gives me peace of mind, knowing that what I’m putting on my body is safe for my skin. I have enjoyed learning more about this company and its mission through this experience.

Overall I loved my first Kinder Box and I look forward to seeing what is to come in my second box. I’ve already received a few sneak peak emails. Based on those I know I’m going to love it.

Will you be trying the Kinder Beauty Box for yourself, or have you been a longtime customer already? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
